What Blatche did to deserve it

By Dan Steinberg

Well, due to some intrepid reporting from Kyle Weidie, we now know what Andray Blatche did to deserve poop in the shoe. The video is brilliant, but the basic story is this: Some Wizards cut up Blatche's suit, then Blatche assumed Gilbert was the villain and threw his clothes in the jacuzzi, and then the prank war was on and Gilbert responded in the best way he saw fit.

And no, you won't see any return engagements.

"I don't do pranks any more," Gilbert told Kyle. "They try to get me, but those days is over. All the fun days is over."

I'd rather see them spending a little more energy trying to get better on court.

Dude let it go already. The media really won't let the past go. I wish Gil would stop answering questions about the past by telling the media he is looking towards the future. They take everything he says and makes him look foolish. What about a story talking about the great game last nigh! I was in the phone booth and it was electrifying! What a great "team" effort led by Wall. This young man is the real deal. Tired of hearing the negative Gil stories.

Not negative on Gilbert, but I took the quote "...All the fun days is over," personally, because, well he's the cause of that effect. He ruined the fun. Not the media, not Ted, not Flip, and certainly not the fans. I may be reading out of context, just sayin...
