Who had the worst week in D.C. sports
It's been a horror show in D.C. sports for several weeks now. The Redskins have lost three straight. The Caps have lost six seven straight. The Wizards have lost four straight. The Terps basketball team just dropped their ACC home opener to Boston College, while the football team got exiled to RFK Stadium in late December. Michael Wilbon abandoned us to write about Chicago, the best sports city in the country. And on and on.
Point is, this is a great time to explore some of America's finest handmade whiskeys.
No no no, point is, you're supposed to help me decide who had the worst week in D.C. sports for the D.C. Sports-O-Meter. There are plenty of choices, but here are some of the leading candidates. Vote now. Then drink. (Vote for the best week in D.C. sports here. Ha.)

Caps have lost 6 in a row... not 7.

Ok, a toss up between Boudreau and Gano. Gano is a Rookie so I give him a pass but not sure if Shanahan will. I think he has 10 misses this year to lead the NFL but he also has made some key kicks. Boudreau better be throwing chairs at Kettler today!
Anything Caps is the joke of the week after you lose 7-0 and have a 7 game losing streak. I give Ovechkin props for at least playing hard and willing to drop the gloves to get this team to play inspired. The good news is the Caps will still make the playoffs so it is how you finish. No time to panic....yet
The Redskins played hard against a good team and showed a good bounce back after last weeks laugher. A tough loss. The only good news is the Redskins are working towards a top Draft Pick!
We knew the Wizards would suck and the Terps are young so neither of those are a surprise.
I think I will sit back and see what the Washington Nationals do in signings this week or you may have to add Mike Rizzo to your list next week!

Don't worry. It will be 7 in a row soon.

The paying fans had the worst week, especially those of multiple teams.
All of the people on this list got paychecks to endure the week they went through, while those who attended the sports disasters had the privilege of paying to see them.
Admittedly, we might not be as personally affected by the messes, but...
