Albert Haynesworth's "PUNK" shirt
Wait a second, Albert Haynesworth showed up on the day his suspension ended to clear out his locker while wearing a shirt that said "PUNK" on the back? Really? That's really the shirt he chose out of his closet on that particular day? The shirt that said "EXORBITANTLY RICH MALCONTENT" was in the wash or something?
"I've got nothing to say," Haynesworth told reporters, though I'm not sure if that was technically the question.
And the future?
"If a guy refuses to talk to you, it's hard to have a conversation with him," Mike Shanahan told CSN Washington Kelli Johnson. "I initiated it before and he refused to talk to me, so that kind of says it all, doesn't it?"
Maybe. The "PUNK" shirt helps, too.

Uh, I think that's one of those newfangled things known as a Jacket. Not a shirt.

I think the Fox5 chiron editor who typed "SITING" is more of a dope than Fat Al.

So effing what? Do you have any idea what it means? Have you checked to see if it is offered on the web? No, you are just so desperate to diss Haynesworth one last time that you are running with this. Jeez, shoddy journalism.

What did the front of the shirt say?

I noticed a huge, scary bouncer with dark glasses at a concert one year. Menacing to say the least, but on the front of his t-shirt was written "Meet Me." I thought how you can't really judge people by their looks. I saw the back of his shirt as he walked by. It read "In The Woods." I wonder what the front of Albert's jacket said?

Would Belichick embarrass Vince Wilfork, make him run suicide sprints until his knee was swollen, and crow about how right he was because "Vince is not in cardiovascular shape to play football?" I look at the size of the Pat's o-line, giving Brady all day to pass, and think, "None of them would make Shanahan's team." Boz was right. He still thinks he's coaching at Mile High where you can win with a small, fit line. The Redskins would've beat the Colts with Albert rushing up the middle, but Albert couldn't play because he was too long at his little brother's funeral. Let's not forget Donovan's seat in the Shanahan trash truck. Remember when Donovan held a grueling voluntary mini-camp in the August heat of Phoenix? Now it's Donovan's fault that he didn't make the mandatory 5 reads and get the ball out with the entire Detroit line bearing down on him. Albert and Donovan showed up in the best shape of their lives, and both were thrown aside like trash by Shanahan. To quote Darrell Green, "There is nothing redemptive about this."

It could be that Haynesworth refused to talk to Shanahan because Haynesworth knew that it wouldn't make any difference. I'm not saying that Haynesworth was blameless, but people with a my-way-or-the-highway type personality (like Shanahan) are usually not open to hearing other views. Even if Haynesworth had a dialog with Shanahan, there would have been no mutual resolution. Those two are way beyond that point.

Haynesworth is gone. McNabb is going. When the Redskins are 5-11 next year, whose fault will it be? Not Mike Shanahan's
I'm guessing Kevin Kolb after Shanny gives the Eagles a 1st and a 3rd round draft pick for him.
