Clinton Portis's home hits the market

Clinton Portis's house is for sale. Now, before you all go jumping to conclusions, bear in mind that Portis owns multiple properties in the D.C. market, and that there's no requirement that members of the Redskins actually own a home in this area. Maybe he wants to rent in Reston or something.
But anyhow, here's the description of his home, a five-bedroom, six-bathroom McLean mansion which is listed at a cool $2.5 million.
Beautiful McLean Private Estate tucked away down a private drive. Owner, has spared no expense, 3 finished floors complete with a luxurious mast suite with cavernous closets and balcony, gourmet kit with granite and SS appliances, open and airy solarium, elegant stone and wood work throughout, built-ins throughout, in-ground pool and spa, walkout lower level w/ theater room, and tons more.
"Very bright, almost garish color schemes," I might have added, were I the listing agent.

The colors he chose lead me to believe he is a Vikings or Bengals fan (LOL). Sheeesh, that is horrible which most likely will affect offers he receives as most people will have to repaint day 1.

for a full price offer, he will dress up as any previous CP character at the closing.
I kind of like the stuff on the walls in the poolroom. what is that?

Given the fact that Portis is clearly color blind, we should be thankful he doesn't run into his offensive line.
Oh, wait...

Love all the "hater" comments on a property they can't afford. I guess if you had nothing better to do, you can always hate!

Does his HOA require that each room be a different color?

Ok, I'm a Realtor and a pretty good one.
Those colors are absolutely hideous.

Most "folks" buying a $2.5 mill place are going to tailor it to their tastes. $2.5 mil in McLean sounds like the price was set low already to reflect the "handyman special" status...

Nothing wrong with that house that a WHOLE bunch of paint wouldn't cure.

Typical comments from those who:
live with Mommy and sleep in the same bedroom they had when they were 6.
live in a non-descript 1970's era apartment complex.
live in a trailer.

The owner calls this the sheriff gonna getch ya saloon. Its airy and allows sunlight to flow throw like a tsunami. You'll notice the paint really brings this quality out making it ideal for indoor sunglass use...
Let's head over to the south east jerome wing now shall we.

Before you refinance, check your credit report for anything that could foul up a refinance. You don't want to lay out the money if a credit problem is going to keep you from refinancing, search online for "123 Mortgage Refi" I just used them and they are the best, they got me 3.113% rate

Some of these comments are a riot!
44's record is safe as CP is going to pull an LT and play backup for a SB contender for the 2 years he has left.
Can't blame him.

Mclean is a ghetto? Grape Kool Aid? New Money? Sounds like some thinly vailed white man hateration of a young black man with money. Just remember...as you sit here and ridicule his taste in paint color and interior design. "Clinton's pockets is straight" as he would say.
The comment about him being color blind and running into his offensive lineman. Now that was "CLASSIC" ^5 Rand-al Thor, well done my man!

Not crazy about the colors or the sectional but nothing lots of paint and lots of hours painting wouldn't fix.
Really like the tray ceiling and marble floor.

Yeah, b/c if you're spending 2.5 million on a house, you can't afford to repaint.
Honestly I'm surprised he's put so little into his house. That's not even half a year's salary. No wonder guys have nothing after they stop playing. Hope he held onto some of the rest, because he's not seeing 6.2 again.
But in the interest of reporting, where does he live during the off-season?

Not hating....I actually like CP got the jersey and the whole 9, but to be honest the color scheme is hidious. But guess what...I aint got to live in it and wouldn't pay $2.5 for it. If I DID want it and had the cash, a serious price reduction would be in order just to get the color scheme to my liking but damn...that $h!# is ugly...and for what it's worth I'm black!!!
