Natinals, circa 2011

Something else I meant to write about Friday but never did: a reader sent in this image from the Nats online store. Yes, I do indeed realize that whoever made this mistake likely has never set foot in Nats Park, just as the Natinals uniforms manufacturer was not a Nats employee. Still. It's majestic.
And yes, the image has since been fixed.

The typo was on the web page (which as you correctly point out is not maintained by anyone employed by the Nationals organization) not on the actual merchandise - which, even if it had included a typo, would not have been made or in any way processed, shipped or handled by anyone actually affiliated with the Nationals organization. So what's your point, Cheese Boy? Typos happen. Just ask your colleague Kilgore. Perhaps in payback the Nats should hire an intern whose sole job is to catalog every typo and grammar error Kilgore makes all season long. Although that *would* involve paying him overtime...

Dead horse - being beaten - get over it. Don't be mad because you are not in Viera - it will be spring soon enough!

Maybe the Nationals should just go ahead and change the team name.

Glad to see the person who spelled the uni name wrong found a new job.
