Another look at Baltche

Hey, give credit to the Wizards Web folks for this: they didn't attempt to scrub the NBA highlight package that took time to highlight the team's latest uniform fail. Yes, these things are put on the Web site automatically, but still.
"There's Andray Blatche," said the narrator. "Notice his jersey, uh, the way his last name is spelled. It was wrong. It was, it was spelled Baltche. It's Blatche, people. Get it right."
Yup. It sure was spelled Baltche. Baltche Baltche Baltche Baltche Baltche Baltche.
Here's the video.

When the Nationals had the Natinals thing they put the jerseys to good use and donated them to the Dream Foundation Charity and Dunn's jersey sold for over $8,000.
I don't think the Nats buried it under the carpet and turned a funny embarassing thing into a positive for charity.

As Blatche and the entire Washington Nationals ballclub found out...the world will learn to spell your name right
WHEN
YOU
EARN
IT.
Hot damn Blatche is terrible. You guys think the Hawks'd give us three first round picks for him?

Personally I think Baltche reads and sounds better that Blatche, especially when you add an accent mark to the 'e'.

The sad part is "Baltche" probably doesn't realize his name was misspelled on the jersey.
Wonder if he's friends with spelling bee stars Andruw Jones or Dywane Wade?

Wizards... Balche instead of Blatche
Nationals... Natinals instead of Nationals
Redskins... Bettis (instead of Betts)
I don't remember the Capitals having any spelling issues. Then again, they win more than half of their games and make the playoffs.
