Fenty reads forum response from BlackBerry

Two ways to look at this one: Either Mayor Adrian Fenty's done so much for affordable housing, he can't remember it all. Or the issue is so low on his list of priorities that he can't memorize his basic talking points on the issue.

At a Wednesday candidate forum hosted by D.C. for Democracy -- as my colleague Tim Craig noted yesterday -- Fenty read from a BlackBerry handed to him by an aide as he answered a question on housing strategy. The smartphone, it turns out, didn't quite help him ace the facts -- he fumbled one of the stats.

A photographer from Sum of Change, a media company specializing in progressive causes, was there to capture the moment. Forward to shortly after 2:20 mark.
