Dr. Gridlock has moved
Welcome to his new home, washingtonpost.com/drgridlock. And we've given our transportation blog a new but familiar name. Dr. Gridlock and his colleagues will keep you up to date with the latest that's happening with Metro and on the roads around the Washington region. You can still follow him on Twitter and Facebook, too.
We've also provided you with many new tools to help you navigate the roads and rails in the D.C. area. The Construction Calendar will keep you informed about projects that will affect your travels; the Metro Fare Calculator helps you determine how recent increases will affect your wallet; and you can share tips with your neighbors. We're also highlighting our Taken for a Ride forum where you can vent about your experiences.
While you're here, also explore the other new features across the site. From the Daily Gripe to News Reload we're expanding the ways you can interact with The Post. And feel free to leave a comment, or drop us a note at transportation@washpost.com.

I like this change. It admits that you are more likely to be stuck in "Gridlock" than you are to "Get There."
