Headaches on the horizon
This beautiful weather will linger through Monday tonight and Tuesday, says the Capital Weather Gang, so enjoy your evening travels but be wary of these potential delays.
Dulles Metrorail
This is a mere sampler of the various restrictions for the rail project between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m.
-- Magarity Road north and south will close from Olney Road to Great Falls Street for bridge deck work. Traffic will be directed to take Great Falls Street to Old Chain Bridge Road to Anderson Road back to Magarity Road, and vice versa.
-- Dulles Access Road east will close at Spring Hill Road for pier work. All traffic must exit at Spring Hill Road. Traffic will not be tolled.
Beltway HOT lanes
Here's a sampler of 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. closings for the High Occupancy Toll lane construction.
-- I-495 north at I-66 will close for steel beam erection.
-- Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) north will close at Westpark Drive for steel beam erection.
-- Westpark Drive east and west will close at Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) for steel beam erection.
University Boulevard paving
Watch for single lane closings from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday between Veirs Mill Road and Arcola Avenue.
