Road closures around the Capitol

The U.S. Capitol Police is reporting round closures on the Hill for street maintenance. Two routes are affected:

-- Constitution Avenue is closed in both directions from First Street NE to Third Street NE. That closure will last until 9 p.m. Saturday.

-- Independence Avenue westbound is closed from First Street SE to Washington Avenue SW. That closure will last all weekend.
