I-270 closed in Montgomery County
Interstate 270 is blocked in both directions in the Gaithersburg area after a tractor-trailer brought down power lines.
Southbound traffic is being diverted at Route 124/Montgomery Village Road to Route 355/South Frederick Road. Northbound traffic is being diverted at Shady Grove Road to Route 355/South Frederick Road.
Utility crews are on the scene. There is no estimated time for repair, but it could extend through the morning rush hour.
