Closures on WB Columbia Pike
5:15 p.m. Update: According to Arlington officials, westbound Columbia Pike is blocked at Wakefield, too, because of a traffic accident.
4:55 p.m. Update: ART bus route 41 is affected by the closure. Some stops are not being served.
Original post: A quarter-mile stretch of westbound Columbia Pike is closed this afternoon because of a water main break, according to Arlington officials.
The stretch from South Dinwiddie Street to South Frederick Street is closed to westbound travelers. Detours have been set up, but you should expect delays if you are traveling in the area.
