Chat about getting away for the 4th
Chat with Townsend at Noon | Dr. Gridlock: July 4 travel trips
John Townsend, manager of public and government affairs at AAA Mid-Atlantic, will be online Thursday at 12:30 p.m. to talk about Fourth of July holiday travel.
Townsend said earlier this week that the number of people who say they plan to travel from the Washington region over the coming holiday weekend is 18.4 percent higher than last year.
The AAA survey found that 817,458 people said they would travel. There was a 19 percent increase in people who said they would go by automobile. .
