MARC delays

Mark Berman

7:30 A.M. UPDATE:
There will also be delays for MARC Brunswick Line commuters: trains on that line will experience a 10 to 12 minute delay arriving at Silver Spring due to signal problems. And Camden Line train 849 will run one car short today, so expect crowding on that train.

ORIGINAL POST:
The overnight rain might be causing delays on MARC's Camden Line: Reports of a flooded area near St. Denis are causing southbound Camden Line trains to run 10 to 12 minutes late as they approach the Dorsey station, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. And train 841 is running 12 to 15 minutes late as it approaches the Laurel station.

Looks like Metro is up to it's old tricks this morning too. "Reports of smoke" between McPherson Sq and Metro Center = delays on Orange and Blue. WMATA says they're single tracking?

My train went through the area around seven but the driver announced she was turning off the air system because of smoke reports. Coworkers are reporting being stuck at Rosslyn for fifteen minutes now.
