Headaches on the horizon
There's no more than a sprinkle to afflict travelers overnight, but the Capital Weather Gang says we'll be back into heat and humidity on Wednesday. Here's a headache for hikers and bikers in Northern Virginia.
A section of Fairfax County's Cross County Trail closed today at Difficult Run by the Dulles Toll Road to allow workers on the Dulles Metrorail project to continue building a bridge for the tracks that will carry trains over the trail.
The trail section will be closed into the fall and there is no detour. Trail users should avoid the trail in this area.
When the rail bridge is completed, the Fairfax County Park Authority will begin an improvement project and resurface the trail.
