9:05 a.m. Update: Traffic delays on the surrounding streets are minimal.

Original post: Police are investigating a suspicious package in the 1200 block of K Street NW. K Street is blocked at 13th Street by a patrol car while the investigation occurs. Authorities have also put up police tape. Expect delays in the area.

Update: Emergency officials are also reporting a suspicious package at Wisconsin Avenue and Warren Street NW. Expect traffic issues in that location, too.
