MARC delays continue
4:45 p.m. Update: MARC 891 has been canceled. The MTA advises that passengers should transfer to MARC 875. Metro will honor MARC tickets, too, the MTA said.
4:35 p.m. Update: MARC Train 853 is holding at Camden Station -- delays are currently at 60 minutes -- due to a disabled freight train, MTA officials said.
4:20 p.m. Update: MTA warns that MARC 873 will be severely crowded. It's approaching Silver Spring.
4:12 p.m. Update: The MTA says Train 873 just left Union Station and is operating 30 to 40 minutes late.
4:05 p.m. Update: MARC just announced that Metro will honor MARC tickets for trips to Shady Grove.
Original post: The Maryland Transit Administration reports that MARC Trains 873 and 891 are holding at Union Station due to police activity.
