Silver Line work to affect WB Toll Road
Beginning tonight, construction of the Metrorail extension to Dulles will alter the flow of traffic temporarily on the westbound Dulles Toll Road near where it crosses Wiehle Avenue. Lanes will shift to the right to make way for construction on the Wiehle Avenue station, which will be in the median of the highway.
It's similar to what drivers experienced in recent weeks heading the other way on the airport access road. Expect the new pattern and some congestion today, and be on the lookout for it at night during the next two weeks.
