I-495 in Md.: lane blocked

Good morning all,

Here's what's going on this morning as you head back to work:

8:30 AM: An accident is blocking the right lane southbound on the Capital Beltway at the American Legion bridge.

8:25 AM Update: The accident has cleared on Kenilworth Avenue. The blocked lanes have reopened.

8 AM: An accident is blocking the two left lanes of southbound Kenilworth Avenue NE before Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue NE.

7:25 AM Update: The left lane has reopened eastbound on I-66, just before the Capital Beltway.

7:10 AM: A pedestrian has been struck at Independence Ave and 4th St. SW, according to the Twitter page of the D.C. Fire and EMS.

7 AM Update: The accident has cleared northbound on the Baltimore Washington Parkway after Greenbelt Road. Traffic is slow after Capital Beltway.

6:30 AM: The left lane is blocked eastbound on I-66, just before the Capital Beltway due to an accident.

6:30 AM Update: The right, northbound lane is still blocked on the Baltimore Washington Parkway after Greenbelt Road. Traffic is getting by to the left.

6:10 AM: The right lane is blocked northbound on the Baltimore Washington Parkway after Greenbelt Road due to an accident.

6:10AM: The right lane is blocked on I-95 southbound at Route 212/Beltsville in Prince Georges County.
