Md. troopers crack down on DWI
Maryland State police joined local law enforcers as part of a national campaign against drinking and driving. Authorities charged 312 motorists across the state for driving under the influence. Troopers arrested 122 of those.
The campaign -- "Drunk Driving -- Over the Limit, Under Arrest" -- includes road patrols, sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols. State troopers will be on similar patrols throughout the Labor Day weekend.
