3:20 p.m. Update: Metro reports that the Cleveland Park Station has reopened.
Original post: Metro hopes to open
Cleveland Park Station for the afternoon commute, but workers are still removing mud and debris from an area in the station that was flooded on Thursday morning, according to a Metro official.
"There is a lot of water, mud and debris" in the mezzanine area, where most of the flooding occurred, said Metro spokesman Steven Taubenkibel. "Hopefully they will be done shortly, but we are still waiting for the all clear," he said.
