NYC to honor Arlington Fire Dept.
New York City officials are scheduled to present the Arlington County Fire Department with a section of steel from the World Trade Center on Sunday to honor the department's service on 9/11.
The presentation will take place at 11 a.m. at Fire Station No. 5, 1750 S. Hayes St. Expect some street closures in the vicinity. South Hayes Street from South 15th Street to South Fern Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking will be restricted to the west side of South Hayes Street from South 15th Street to South 18th Street.
