Person falls on Orange Line tracks
A Metro customer fell onto the trackbed at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at Virginia Square Station on the Orange Line and was helped back onto the platform by other customers, according to the transit agency.
The customer is receiving medical care from paramedics, who are on the scene providing treatment, said Metro spokesman Steven Taubenkibel.
There was no additional information available on the person's condition.
