Mark Berman

10:15 a.m. Update: MTA says Train 521 departed Penn Station 25 minutes late "due to Amtrak interference."

8:30 A.M. UPDATE:
MARC trains 880, 842 and 849 are running 15 to 20 minutes late due to freight congestion.

7:20 A.M. UPDATE:
MARC train 840 (departing Washington at 6:42 a.m.) is running about 15 to 20 minutes late due to freight congestion.

Another morning rush hour with the potential for crowded MARC trains. The following trains are going to run one car short, which means they might be more crowded today: Four Penn Line trains: 503 (departing Perryville at 4:40 a.m.), 402 (departing Washington at 6:45 a.m.), 411 (departing Baltimore at 7 a.m.) and 415 (departing Baltimore at 7:40 a.m.). And Brunswick Line train 876 (departing Brunswick at 6:33 a.m.).
