VRE resumes normal service

7:15 A.M. UPDATE:
VRE trains are experiencing several delays this morning. Traffic was held after a freight train was stopped this morning south of L'Enfant, causing other trains to be held while the train was inspected. Traffic has resumed moving at restricted speed while passing through that area.
Train 300 (departing Fredericksburg at 5:05) ran at least 15 minutes late due to equipment problems. There were also delays for Manassas train 324 (departing Broad Run at 5:45) and Fredericksburg train 302 (departing Fredericksburg at 5:15).
ORIGINAL POST:
Normal service has resumed on VRE's Fredericksburg Line this morning. The train service was canceled Friday due to a CSX train derailment.
