2:04 p.m. Update: The water main work on Chain Bridge Road at North Glebe Road will continue into the evening rush hour, according to Arlington officials. Drivers should use alternate routes, officials said.

Original post: Falls Church crews will be conducting water main work on Chain Bridge Road on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., restricting traffic to one lane.

The work will take place on Chain Bridge Road about 300 feet north of the intersection with Glebe Road.

I'm confused -- Chain Bridge is no where near Falls Church.

Watch out. I think something went wrong with the repair and a huge chunk of 123 went into the little Potomac river. Good luck getting around this one.
