Delta warns of flight delays
Delta Airlines warned passengers who might be flying to or from the Washington and New York City regions Wednesday night and Thursday that flight delays and cancellations are likely as heavy rains move up the Eastern Seaboard.
The FAA and the airports advise that you check with your airline for how your flight might be affected. Operations at Washington's three major airports are currently normal, but that is expected to change as heavy rain and wind move into the area.
