I-270 accident causes delays
7:20 p.m. Update: Maryland State Police report a seven-car accident occurred on southbound I-270 at Rockledge just after 7 p.m. No serious injuries have been reported and police have closed the left lane.

Original post: A multiple-vehicle accident on Interstate 270 South at Rockledge Drive is causing delays northbound and southbound. According to the state of Maryland, 270 southbound is closed. The Post's Katherine Shaver reports that an additional accident, involving multiple cars, appears to have occurred on 270 northbound.
