MARC changes Friday afternoon

Mark Berman

Anticipating heavier traffic than normal because of the holiday weekend, the Maryland Transit Administration announced a few changes for MARC trains Friday afternoon:

-- Camden Line train 852 (5:51 p.m. Washington departure) will not be operating. Instead, an earlier train will depart Washington at 2 p.m., making all stops to Camden.

-- Also, larger train sets will operate on the midday Penn Line trains to accommodate more passengers.

-- Brunswick Line train 871 will operate as scheduled and more cars will be added to the train.
