MARC trains 1 car short
6:20 p.m. Update: MARC Train 874 on the Brunswick Line will be one car short on Wednesday morning.
5:25 p.m. Update: MARC Train 850 will also be a car short, the MTA said. Commuters will not be able to ride in the cab car.
Train 875 is running up to 25 minutes late a Rockville. MTA officials say a switch problem outside of Washington caused the problem.
5:06 p.m. Update: MARC 875 left Silver Spring running 20 minutes late, according to the MTA.
5 p.m. Update: MARC Train 875 is operating 15 to 20 minutes late. The train left Washington behind schedule, according t the MTA.
Original post: MARC Train 877, departing Union Station at 4:55 p.m., will be one car short this evening, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. The shortages of rail cars usually occur due to equipment problems, MTA officials have said.
