Storms may impede p.m. commute
Original post: The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the D.C. area until 10 p.m. There's a possibility of hail, wind gusts up to 70 mph and lightning. Radar currently shows a small area of thunderstorms, and the Capital Weather Gang says many areas may not be affected, but the possibility exists for more severe weather to develop.
