Power restored in Va.

4:55 p.m. Update: Dominion Power has resolved the power outages that plagued about 4,000 customers this afternoon. The outages are now affecting about 55 customers.

Original post: A power outage in northern Arlington County has darkened traffic lights along Lee Highway from North Harrison Street to North Glebe Road. According to county officials, Dominion Power is working on restoring electricity to the area. In the interim, drivers should treat intersections with darkened signals as four-way stops.

About 3,900 Dominion Power customers are currently without power, according to the company's outage map.
