Accident cleared on I-395 N
6:30 p.m. Update: The accident has been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
6:18 p.m. Update: Two lanes of traffic are now getting by, but authorities remain on the scene.
6:10 p.m. Update: The accident appears to have occurred just before the 14th Street Bridge in the work zone. Emergency units, including a fire truck, are on the scene. A vehicle has been loaded onto a wrecker, so the scene may clear soon.
Original post: An accident on I-395 North at George Washington Parkway has traffic severely backed up. Only the right lane gets by.
