Emergency landing in Frederick
Frederick police say a small plane made an emergency landing at Frederick Municipal Airport after its landing gear malfunctioned.
Police say the pilot was not injured and airport, which was closed during the emergency landing, was reopened shortly after the landing about 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the plane suffered minor damage and the incident will be investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
