Rockville Pike lane blocked

8:35 A.M. UPDATE:

-- One lane of Rockville Pike northbound is still blocked at Park Road.

-- The Dulles Toll Road lanes have reopened.

-- I-66 East is still backed up at the Beltway.

-- I-395 North is pretty crowded at the 14th Street Bridge, so expect delays there.


8:05 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The three lanes remain blocked on the Dulles Toll Road.

-- I-66 East is very backed up at the Beltway.

7:40 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The right lane reopened on I-395 North before Washington Boulevard.

-- The three eastbound lanes are still blocked on the Dulles Toll Road.

-- One lane of Rockville Pike northbound is still blocked at Park Road.

7:15 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The three eastbound lanes are still blocked on the Dulles Toll Road near the ramp to the Beltway.

-- An accident on I-395 North before Washington Boulevard is blocking the right lane and right shoulder.

6:45 A.M. UPDATE:

-- An accident near the ramp from eastbound Dulles Toll Road/VA-267 to the Beltway is blocking the left outside lane, left center lane and center lane. Expect big eastbound delays as traffic creeps by on the right.

-- The accident on I-270 South has been cleared.

-- One lane remains blocked on Rockville Pike northbound.

-- There's a disabled vehicle on the Outer Loop before Georgia Avenue.

6:15 A.M. UPDATE:

-- One lane of northbound Rockville Pike is blocked at Park Road due to emergency roadwork.

-- An accident on I-270 South at Shady Grove Road could slow southbound traffic.

-- The I-270 North lane at Falls Road has reopened.

Good morning, commuters! It's going to be a summery day out there today. And the area is suddenly infested with giant alien robots that transform into cars and planes and the like. All in all, it's just another morning on the road.

-- One lane of I-270 North is blocked at Falls Road.
