Ramp repairs completed
Good morning all,
Last night's thunderstorms have left us with slick roads, flooding and power outages through out the region. Let's see how the morning commute is being affected:
Repairs have been completed on the 295 ramp to the Southeast-Southwest Freeway, according to the District Department of Transportation. All lanes are open.
-- A disabled vehicle is in the third lane from the left southbound on the Capital Beltway at New Hampshire Avenue.
--Update: The disabled vehicle has been cleared from the Suitland Parkway before Silver Hill Road.
A disabled vehicle is blocking the left lane westbound on the Suitland Parkway before Silver Hill Road.
--Only the right lane gets by northbound on Telegraph Road at the Capital Beltway in Alexandria because of flooding.
--A fallen tree is blocking the right, southbound lane on Route 29 before Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring.
A pothole is blocking the right lane inbound on the 11th Street bridge and the Southeast Freeway.
--Nursery Road at Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Anne Arundel County is blocked because of fallen power cables.
--Henderson Road and Maple Branch Road in Clifton is blocked because of fallen trees.
-- Dalecarlia Parkway N.W. at Loughboro Road N.W. is blocked because of fallen trees.
--Update: Route 4 northbound before Route 301 near Upper Marlboro is open and the trees have been cleared.
--Update: The left lane in both directions of 14th Street S.W. at Independence Avenue S.W. has reopened and the accident has been cleared.

--Browns Mill Road near Beulah Road N.E. and PennyCress Lane in Vienna is closed because of downed power lines.
--Route 4 northbound before Route 301 near Upper Marlboro is blocked due to fallen trees.

--Traffic lights are not working at I-66 eastbound between Route 50 and the Capital Beltway. The right lane is stuck on the "RED X". The Virginia Department of Transportation is working on the problem.
