MARC Camden Line trains delayed

7:18 p.m. Update: Delays continue along the Camden Line due to power failure at Greenbelt. Some trains are operating as much as 40 minutes late. MTA officials said Train 856, which was scheduled to depart Union Station at 7:35 p.m., will leave 20 to 25 minutes late.

5:40 p.m. Update: The MTA says repairman are on site attempting to correct the problem. Delays are still running about 20 to 25 minutes, the agency said.

4:50 p.m. Update: Camden Line delays between Washington and Muirkirk will now run about 20 to 25 minutes, the MTA said.

Original post: All MARC trains on the Camden Line, which runs between Washington and Baltimore, will be delayed 10 to 15 minutes because of a CSX signal and switch power failure at Greenbelt, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. CSX operates the Camden Line.
