MARC delays; a train 1 car short
4:55 p.m. Update: Third Street between S Street and Virginia Avenue SW is also closed to traffic.
4:45 p.m. Update: Camden Line 853 is now 20 to 25 minutes late.
Original post: Camden Line Train 850, scheduled to leave Union Station at 5:16 p.m., will be one car short, according to MARC officials. The next available train will be 852, departing at 5:51 p.m.
Train 853, which departed Camden Yards on its way to Washington at 3:30 p.m., about 15 minutes late because of freight train congestion.
MARC said Brunswick Line trains will incur delays of 15 to 30 minutes west of Silver Spring due to track work.
