Brunswick Line trains delayed

8:10 A.M. UPDATE:
All Brunswick Line trains are running 15 to 30 minutes behind due to the disabled freight train.
7:10 A.M. UPDATE:
More MARC fun: Camden Line train 847 is having mechanical problems and running 22 to 25 minutes late.
6:50 A.M. UPDATE:
Just to clarify, the disabled freight train causing all trains to operate at restricted speeds is between the Barnesville and Boyd stations.
6:25 A.M. UPDATE:
Because of the delays stemming from the disabled freight train, Metro will accept MARC tickets, the Maryland Transit Administration reported.
6:20 A.M. UPDATE:
The Maryland Transit Administration is reporting that because of a disabled freight train, all MARC trains will be running at a restricted speed this morning. Expect delays of 15 to 20 minutes.
6:15 A.M. UPDATE:
Brunswick Line train 890 is running 20 to 25 minutes late as it approaches Boyds because of a disabled freight train.
ORIGINAL POST:
MARC riders hopping on the train at Perryville, take note: The ticket machine is down at that station this morning. Cash fares may be paid on the train, while people needing to buy one-way fares with cards or weekly or monthly tickets should board at Aberdeen.

Thanks for screwing us again CSX! Whats this, the twentieth time in 21 days that we have been delayed... I think third world nations have better train systems than ours.

Yes I agree. This is the second day in a row that we have been delayed by some bungling at CSX. They need to get their act together so that we can have a smoother running system.
