I-66 East jammed up

8:40 A.M. UPDATE:

-- An accident on I-270 South at I-370 is blocking one southbound lane.

-- I-395 North is still backed up at the 14th Street Bridge, and there is also congestion leading to Seminary Road.

-- The Inner Loop is still congested heading to Route 7/Leesburg Pike.

-- I-66 East is also seeing heavy traffic en route to the Beltway.

8:15 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The Outer Loop lane has reopened before Bald Eagle Road.

-- I-66 East is very backed up at Nutley Road.

-- I-95 North is also packed from the Springfield Interchange to S. Van Dorn Street.

7:50 A.M. UPDATE:

One Outer Loop lane is still blocked before Bald Eagle Road.

7:30 A.M. UPDATE:

-- An accident on the Outer Loop before Bald Eagle Road is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.

-- I-395 North is now backed up at the 14th Street Bridge.

-- The Inner Loop is more backed up heading to Route 7/Leesburg Pike, so expect delays along that corridor of the Beltway.

7:05 A.M. UPDATE:

-- There's a disabled vehicle on I-395 North just before the 14th Street Bridge.

-- The Inner Loop/I-495 North is backed up en route to Route 7/Leesburg Pike.

6:45 A.M. UPDATE:

A disabled vehicle on I-95 North just before the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right shoulder of the ramp at exit 169.

6:25 A.M. UPDATE:

-- I-66 East is very backed up at Sudley Road and Chain Bridge Road.

-- I-95 North is also very congested in Woodbridge.

-- The I-270 North lanes have reopened.

Good morning, commuters. We're going to have nice weather this morning, with some showers later in the day. As another week gets underway, check back here throughout the morning for updates on your morning rush.

-- On I-270 North, two lanes are closed at Montrose Rose due to roadwork.
