Water main break on Central Avenue

D.C. Water is repairing a 16-inch broken water main in the 5500 block of Central Avenue in Southeast Washington. The site is between 54th and 56th streets. Expect delays in the area. Customers may also experience a disruption in water service, D.C. Water said.

The repairs are estimated to take about four hours, which may affect afternoon commuters.
