Dulles Toll Rd. lanes reopen

3:55 p.m., 11.21 Update: The airports authority say the repairs to the bridge were completed earlier today. Beulah Road and the Dulles Toll Road lanes have reopened.

Original post: The two right lanes of the Dulles Toll Road eastbound will close overnight Saturday as crews repair structural damage to the Beulah Road Bridge.

According to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which operates the toll road, the bridge was damaged by a a truck hauling a backhoe earlier this week.

The two right lanes will close around 9 p.m. Saturday and will remain closed until the repairs are completed, which officials estimate will be sometime Sunday. The two left lanes will remain open to traffic. The Beulah Road Bridge remains closed.
