Delays on 270, BW Pkwy.

By Washington Post Editors

3:20 p.m. Update: Volume is also heavy on 270 North with traffic crawling at 20 mph along a broad stretch from Shady Grove Road to Interstate 70, although you may experience some temporary relief on short stretches of the highway.

Original post: Our traffic map is showing serious congestion on BW Parkway. Drive times north from 50 to Route 32 are running less than 20 mph. An accident at Route 410, which has been moved to the shoulder, is contributing to the delays.
