Inner Loop backed up in VA

8:40 A.M. UPDATE:

-- Delays remain on the Inner Loop en route to I-66.

-- Ditto on I-395 North leading to the 14th Street Bridge.


7:35 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The Inner Loop delays now start at I-66.

-- I-395 North is very congested around Washington Boulevard, so expect delays throughout much of the roadway.

7:20 A.M. UPDATE:

-- I-66 East is jammed up at Chain Bridge Road as well as at Sudley Road.

-- The Inner Loop is still very slow heading to Gallows Road.

6:55 A.M. UPDATE:

The Inner Loop is backed up at Gallows Road.

6:30 A.M. UPDATE:

-- A disabled vehicle on the Inner Loop at Braddock Road is blocking the right shoulder.

-- The I-270 North lane has reopened.

Good morning, commuters! We're off to a sunny and cool start for November. Here are some of the headaches and problems awaiting commuters for the first rush hour of the month. Let us know any other things you see or hear about in the comments below, via e-mail or via Twitter (@drgidlock).

-- Roadwork on I-270 North is blocking one lane at Falls Road.

-- The planned completion of the Ohio Drive reconstruction near the Lincoln Memorial has been pushed back two weeks, to Nov. 15, so you can still expect that to add to your fun.

-- The Chain Bridge, closed this weekend for structure repair work, was scheduled to reopen this morning at 5 a.m.

-- The ramp from southbound Telegraph Road to the outer loop of the Capital Beltway, closed over the weekend as part of the Wilson Bridge project's reconstruction of the interchange, was scheduled to reopen this morning at 5 a.m.

-- Parking restrictions in Georgetown are going to be lifted at 6 a.m. for the following roads:
- K Street NW from 30th Street to Wisconsin Avenue
- Water Street NW from 32rd Street west to the Capital Crescent Trail
- 1000 to 1300 Blocks of Wisconsin Avenue NW
- M Street NW from 25th Street to the Key Bridge
- 1100 block of 26th Street NW
