Suspicious vehicle closes roads
UPDATE:
The suspicious vehicle is said to be a camper parked on Jefferson Drive in front of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, according to reporter Fredrick Kunkle.
Sgt. David Schlosser with the U.S. Park Police said the agency's explosive ordnance team is on the scene investigating.
5:01 p.m.
Streets near the Mall are closed because of a suspicious vehicle in the area, according to U.S. Park Police.
Streets between 4th and 7th Street are closed while authorities check out the vehicle.
