VRE seeks 'volunteer victims'

Virginia Railway Express plans to conduct an emergency drill on Nov. 13 and is seeking volunteers to play the role of victims in a simulated train disaster.

The commuter rail agency uses the exercise to text the response of personnel to train emergencies.

The simulation will take place in Springfield, and the volunteers should arrive by 6:30 a.m. and be done by noon.

Fore more information, e-mail VRE at VRE asks that you put "Volunteer Victim" in the subject line.
