A late ride for MARC riders

3:45 p.m. Update: The MTA says the train departed 35 minutes late.

Original post: Amtrak Train 148, used by some MARC Penn Line riders who hold weekly and monthly passes, will be 30 to 45 minutes leaving Union Station, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. The train was scheduled to leave at 3:02 p.m. The MTA reports that there is a problem with the locomotive.
