I-66 W closures planned
Westbound Interstate 66 is scheduled to close at the Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The work is part of the Dulles Metrorail extension project. Officials said crews will be lifting steel girders above the interstate.
Traffic will be detoured to the Dulles Connector Road westbound, to Route 123, to a ramp to the Capital Beltway south, where they can then rejoin I-66 from the Beltway.
