MARC delays and crowding
9:20 A.M. UPDATE:
A roundup of some MARC issues you might have missed:
-- Penn Line train 410 is on the move 35 to 40 minutes late, but making all the stops.
-- Train 419 is canceled.
-- Baltimore, BWI and New Carrollton passengers will be handled by Amtrak train 181.
-- West Baltimore, Halethorpe, Odenton, Bowie and Seabrook passngers will be handled by train 521.
-- Metro will honor MARC tickets on the Orange Line from New Carrollton to Washington.
9 A.M. UPDATE:
Train 410 is going to run 20 to 30 minutes late because of train congestion and the transfer of passengers off of disabled train 408.
8:45 A.M. UPDATE:
Penn Line train 419 is canceled, while the next southbound train to the District will be train 521.
And here's an update on Brunswick Line delays: Train 894 is 15 to 20 minutes behind, train 878 is 35 to 40 minutes late and train 880 is 12 to 15 minutes late.
8:30 A.M. UPDATE:
Penn Line train 408 is terminating at New Carrollton. Train 410 is the next northbound option to Baltimore.
8:20 A.M. UPDATE:
CSX has issued flash flood warnings, so already-delayed MARC Brunswick Line trains are going to operate at reduced speed. Train 894 is 10 to 15 minutes behind, train 878 is 35 to 40 minutes late and train 880 is 10 to 15 minutes behind.
8:05 A.M. UPDATE:
Train 878 is running 35 minutes late, and train 880 behind it is about 10 to 12 minutes behind schedule. Train 894 (departing Frederick at 7:10 a.m.) is only running three cars, so you can expect crowds. Metro will honor MARC tickets.
MARC Brunswick Line train 878 is running 35 minutes late due to a signal problem at the Brunswick station. It's being followed by train 880.
