Metro option for some MARC riders
Riders on MARC's Penn Line have the option Monday evening of using Metrorail's Orange Line for free, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. Riders should show their MARC tickets to station managers for access.
The Penn Line runs from Washington through northeastern Maryland via Baltimore. Riders faced severe delays and cancellation Monday morning due to mechanical failures and problems with the overhead wires that power the trains.
